My Story

I'm Samantha, your guide on this transformative wellness journey. From a young age, I've been drawn to movement and sports, finding solace and success in physical activity. This passion led me to pursue my dream of becoming a personal trainer.

Even in middle school, I found joy in training friends and motivating them to push beyond their limits. By the age of eighteen, I earned my first personal training certification, setting the stage for a lifelong dedication to fitness.

My journey continued at SUNY Cortland, where I immersed myself in the study of Kinesiology and Fitness Development. College provided invaluable opportunities to train clients, lead group fitness classes, and deepen my understanding of human movement.

Over the years, I've worked in various gym settings, from large franchises to boutique studios, honing my craft and refining my approach to wellness. However, it was during my pursuit of a Master's in Clinical Exercise Physiology at UNCC that my perspective shifted.

I realized that true wellness extends beyond physical fitness—it encompasses eight dimensions of well-being. With this insight, I developed the Chakra Wellness Formula, a holistic approach that balances the body's energy centers and restores harmony in all aspects of life.

As a certified personal trainer through ISSA and with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Fitness Development, I bring expertise in strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, and functional fitness to help you achieve your fitness goals effectively and safely.

Additionally, my Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology equips me with specialized knowledge to address the unique needs of individuals with medical conditions or injuries. I am adept at designing exercise programs that promote recovery, improve stability, mobility, and enhance overall well-being, ensuring that workouts are both safe and effective.

As a 200-hour RYT from Chakra Flow University and certified YogaFit instructor, I integrate the principles of yoga and mindfulness into my practice to foster physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Whether you're looking to improve flexibility, reduce stress, or enhance spiritual well-being, my yoga sessions are designed to meet you where you are and support you on your journey toward greater balance and vitality.

Nutrition is also a key component of overall wellness, which is why I hold a Certified Nutrition Specialist certification from ISSA. I offer personalized guidance and support to help you make informed dietary choices that align with your health and fitness goals, whether you're aiming to lose weight, build muscle, or simply improve your overall well-being, we can create a plan to help you overcome any difficulties and feel your healthiest version.

Furthermore, as a licensed Zumba and Strong by Zumba instructor, I bring high-energy, dynamic workouts to the table. I combine cardio, dance, and strength training for a fun and effective fitness experience. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned fitness enthusiast, my Zumba classes are designed to get your heart pumping and your body moving to the rhythm of the music.
